I am certified as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) with the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). I have over 18 years of experience in functional movement, strength training, conditioning, mobility, balance, and rehabilitation for men and women. I am currently Online Training clients nationwide via Zoom and my AFL Forum. Prior to Owning American Fit Land, I was a Sports Performance Coach for Velocity Sports Performance in Centennial, Colorado and Irvine, California, training athletes in preparation for the NFL Pro Combine and Weekend Warrior Bootcamps. I also served my Strength & Conditioning Coaching Internship at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado working with baseball, football, wrestling, volleyball, basketball and soccer athletes. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science & Nutrition from Metropolitan State University in Denver. I am also a Certified Fitness Nutrition Specialist (FNS, NASM), a Certified Functional Fitness Specialist (FFS, Exer. ETC), and a Certified Life Coach (CLC, AUNLP). I have experience in Private Home Training for more than 14 years. I have trained populations of all health levels from overweight, ill, injured, rehabilitated clients to overall general physical health and active athletic levels.
I assess a client’s mobility, stability, strength, technique and performance in each season of life they’re in. Each training session is planned and provided with a specific focus on the client’s abilities, level of effort, and goals. My approach is to provide the client with a targeted, individualized program to meet their unique needs rather than a one-size-fits-all program. I love bringing unhealthy, injured, ill and sedentary clients back to active life through nutrition and designing programs to allow them to excel in their physical goals. I take great pride in personally running every training session Online.
